Couldn't listen to the recording as my browser does not support, but Waterford had a fair few decent pirates allright, and most of them were pretty professional. From what I know of the Waterford pirates, there was:
Suirside
ABC (later Crystal City Sound)
WLR (WLR, the pirate, when it was not constantly repeating the same songs by the same artists 24/7)DCR (Dungarvan Community Radio) which was in my neck of the woods. Broadcast from a local music shop which still exists.
Quayside (never heard this one personally, believe it was in the city but wasn't aware of its existence at the time)
ABC Power 104 (later applied for the youth station that was awarded to Beat 102-103)
MetalHertz (2007)? 99.9
And of course now OpenTempo.
Also worth mentioning that WLR, ABC and Suirside were all aplicants for the local radio license for Waterford city and county in 1989.
