I remember bumping in to Ricky Dee with his little blonde GF Lisa back in August 1996 at the Dream all nighter and him telling me he was moving on from Jungle (Reload FM 103.6) on to House and Garage and setting up a new station gonna be called ICE FM 88.3, then a few months later it appeared and quickly moved up to 88.4.

Mac 92.7 came a little later at the beginning of the following year but I think ICE FM were first going out on 2 frequencies (88.4 and 92.7) before their 'sister/co-station' MAC FM came took over 92.7 owned by Tony McMahon for Club Exposure.

.....I think ICE FM was on until about 99/2000.

I think ice fm might have been the first pirate to use the RDS system with their name
