@dancemusicdj I'll let you decide on the most accessible stream, I wouldn't have a clue!
I confirmed earlier and Flirt FM is definitely located in County Laois - it's just a very high-powered outfit which reaches much further.
thanks for that. still no stream for either flirt or klub fm cork ?

Not that I'm aware of - the last stream Klub FM used is the one you have on the original post, I'd keep that there though as they tend to use it every now and again.
Flirt have no locatable streams yet that I can find and I wouldn't expect to see one anytime soon.

Shall be interesting to see what happens between the Cork stations. I was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the comments passed from one station to another on True Radio Cork's Facebook page before them and the original post were taken down. All I will say is, there was certainly a rivalry of sorts.

Oldies 101.2 appears to have just been a once-off.
Rhythm FM appears to have closed also, they have not been on air over the last few months.
The blank carrier on 107FM in Carlow has also disappeared.

Yeah funnily enough that is the first name that came to me. I can't get definite confirmation that it is it though.

I have got a record of a scan conducted recently with the station having being picked up on that frequency, I thought nothing of it as I thought it was a licensed station.

Carlow's 93.7 has closed.
Flirt 106.6 also appears to have closed.

Did you find out what 93.7 was and what music it was playing? Just for interest sake.

Yes, in fact I was the one to post about it on the other thread at the time. It was playing a mix of easy listening and country the only time I ever heard it, signal wasn't too shabby either.
Checked tonight in Dublin on 99.5 and Space FM has left the air and Club90s remains, the two operations don't appear to be linked.

Checked and found nothing either. They may have just been testing the waters as they went off suddenly tonight, or maybe they're just a weekends-only station.

Club90s has reverted back to Space FM. Listening to the music it seems they were the same outfit after all. Music doesn't match the listed stream at all though; the FM seems to just be playing the same 50 or so songs shuffled on a daily basis. Hopefully they have bigger plans or it's a waste of a frequency.
Galaxy is on 88.1FM in Kildare with a strong signal and decent audio. Good to see them back - it's been a while.
Finally, Play FM Cork's web address:
http://www.play878.com/
Obviously still under construction.

Checked today and it had disappeared, but I'd imagine it was them intending to return. They obviously haven't though.

Yes, picked it up on my way to Athlone a few weeks ago. Nice audio from what I can remember, nice varying mix of music. Fairly decent coverage - not quite as good as Flirt's but nothing to sneeze at either.

Ah good we are back in business. Drum&basshead you will need to remind me of any stations missing from the scan if you get a chance. Cheers.
