Tune in radio app question

Hi. Our old pirate station is starting up again online only. We have looked at getting on Tune in radio app but apparently they are no longer taking on new stations! Does anyone know why this has happened? Or is it because there are 50 zillion net stations out there.

If anyone knows that would help. Cheers

Tune In say that they have "reached capacity". It doesn't seem to matter to them that almost half the stations they list are defunct! There are other listing services (Streema.com, Radio.Garden, Spotify.com and lots of others), and some of them provide "player" apps free of charge for Android and iPhone.
