On Live NOW!!

Can any of our English correspondents hear "United Radio" on 1224 kHz medium wave? It's just a little something we've cooked up over here in the Benelux.

A friend in Norwich could hear it just before sunset on his portable..... Any one else? It's playing back-to-back 70s & 80s hits at the moment (I didn't programme the Playout Computer!).

I'm currently about 30km from the site, and it's HUGE!

Damn! The reference crystal oscillator in the PLL has drifted upwards with the heat - it's about 15Hz high now.

It's about a kilowatt into a reasonable aerial.

This might show what Caroline might be able to achieve, but only if they are allocated a more sensible frequency than 648kHz. The mess on there is horrible!
