The only thing that lets it down is the mention of Martin Garrix and/or Hardwell. It then gets far, far worse - there are mixes by the plebs!

Not to ass lick too much here, but something I've always though about Confusion; I always really appreciated his mix style, not particularly flamboyant but always clean, subtle, mindful of the two songs coming together; I mean always seems to be able to pick stuff that works well together. I very much modelled my own mixing on that when I was a yout listening to Klass.

I'm such an old codge sometimes, pining for the days of old! lol

Spot on with the analysis.
I'm my opinion Confusion was the best Dj for mixing that I ever heard. And believe me I've heard a lot. Djs these days wouldn't know where to start

I'm still amazes me so many djs who haven't even mastered getting two tunes to run at the same speed! Thats about as fundamental as it gets, if you haven't got that down don't call yourself a dj!
