New Year's Day "Specials"

Post by Albert H » Tue Jan 01, 2019 1:59 pm

Can someone in the UK check a rig on 7705kHz please? It's playing pop oldies as "Energy 101 FM"

There's a second, lower power channel on 5810kHz carrying the same programme.

Can you get your shortwave receivers out and check please? I'm asking for a friend..... :whistle

Good to know they're getting out! The aerials are somewhat improvised, I'm told. The rigs themselves are pretty basic, 74HCT CMOS chips into FETs. You can get a signal over much of Europe for about £60. The biggest cost is the aerial wire!
