Well over a month ago I tried going on there as I'd not been on for a few months due to lack of new posts each time I checked the boards but for since I went on there long before Christmas it's been constantly saying:

Radio Anoraks is having some maintenance down time. Please check back soon!

Have they given up and all came back here again now it's running much better than it was when being .com??

I liked it there but it was very quiet for the most part.

It had the opportunity to be succesful like here but never really hit it off for some reason.

The only people that knew about it were the RN hater's but only about 5 of them seemed to use the site. Oh well, if they haven't already they might as well just sign back up to here. See you soon Mr. Albert H...

I signed up there about a week before it went dead. Had only just discovered it and didn't get a chance to post before it went but I spotted that Albert had kicked off that exciter design thought experiment that I'm sure he also talked about on RN.com.

There was some good info and discussion in that thread, so it's a shame if it's gone - but it looked like it was quite a while since anyone posted to the board at all.

Hope the idea resurfaces somewhere soon as it was just getting interesting!

I noticed it was gone around the same time period as you, but I waited to see how long it would take for someone to post about it here.

It's now back up and running, and according to a post by one of the admin' someone "fucked" around with the site hence the downtime.

Yep, it's now looking like Anoraks forum traffic is a thing of the past, and even back when it was introduced it was quiet.
