Radio dinosaur R.A.M and Brfm, frosty dipoles and cosy log fires..

I liked those 2 stations and now I like BRFM they mainly play oldies 50's to 90's and are quite difficult to hear you can hear them either side of thames usually 95.6 sound like a pirate a bit. Hope the bloke who did dinosaur is still about and thinking of radio.

Hoping to catch a few frosty dipole stations on over xmas eve and boxing day I will scan about in evenings. I like the ideas of hearing something that in your own area you probably should not be able to hear pulling those last few microvolts out of the ether.

By the way are tecsun still the best bang for the buck for selectivity and sensitivity ?

Happy xmas all and seasons greetings I am not that into christmas but trying to get into the 8-) spirit of the end of the year cold a snowy, in front of my imaginary log fire.

all the best to you, get those dipoels in the loft.. wink wink.
