just kc fm here must of missed it, wonder if he put on crockett's theme on, remember one bun fire night in the 90's going to one and him been on he sometimes mentioned other pirates like fantasy he said if you wanted to hear some rave music that was where to listen.

Radionortheast.. I think I remember that..Just after he played a cheesey rave tune..I didn't hear crocketts theme but he probably played it at the end coz that's his signature tune innit.. I actually recorded it on to cassette but didn't get the last bit...Hopefully he'll be back again as he sounded in good health and lovin it..

good to hear, think his wife lives in a chip shop, thats what he would always say sending a a shoutout to my chip shop lassy, this must seem pretty bizzare to anyone out of area. He would paint such an interesting picture, made you wonder what he looked like you could just imagine him living in semi detached on top of wooly edge with big aerial in the back garden..definitely a proper yorkshire man

Funnily enough I always thought Stephen Moss looked exactly the way you'd imagine from the way he sounded!

I've heard Stephen moss on an old recording of veronica from Bradford a long time ago and Kenny C was on it too. Do you know Kenny Albert? First time i heard Kenny on Brittania was around 1990 in the days when pirate radio was plentiful in Yorkshire.. Ahh, them were t' days...
There was pirate activity before then in the late 80's but i didn't know about them even though ive been a radio buff for years before.. Must've been coz we lived in a dip and couldn't get owt apart from the legals..

I met "Kenny" way back in the late 80s or early 90s. I can't say that I got to know him!

What was refreshing to hear was a transmission straight from source as he doesn't use Internet for linking so it sounds very nice.. Very nice indeed!

Used to listen all the time back in the day. Every Saturday and Sunday except the signal on Sunday was always much better than Saturday so I recon he moved studio sites (one site each day)

Really glad to know he's still OK I mean he sounded really old 20 years ago!!

I just about managed to hear him on saturday, he was playing some funny 60’s song then I went to the toilet and it went off again, wonder if theres any reason why he keeps the same hours

i’m suprized it wasn’t strong at all, kc fm was more dominate, i was expecting simliar strenght, clear if you where in the right spot..

Wow this guy sounds like a character and something thats needed around the UK not just yorkshire. Is there any audio online of his station? I'd like a listen as I live in Kent so obviously cannot pick it up on FM lol.
