Seem to be getting Ontop on two freq atm, it's on the usual 95.5 with strong signal (51dB) but also getting it on 87.7fm too (43dB's). I'm guessing it might be co channel link interference rather than sprogging.

Actually sounds better through IHR transmitter

Checked on the online tuner in West London last night, had a weak silent carrier at 2dB and OnTop around 33dB.

The weak silent carrier is RSL in Kent.

Can two dials work ? Have one in North London, one in South London? Like the good old Choice North Choice South days.

The choice north /south and indeed now with cap/extra is just ridiculous and shows absolutely rubbish frequency use for many years now in London?

It worked for Choice, as on Choice North there could be D'n'B and on Choice South they would be playing R'n'b, so it gave a wide range of music for London for one station. As most people could get both frequencies.

Capital is a Mum's and kids station who love their top 40, but Xtra does play more younger style, R'n'b and garage.

I would say the biggest disappointment is Kiss, they went form a very good ex-pirate and took that to legal radio. But of course that faded away and now is another Global station, which really is Capital. But after 11pm they go back to their roots, but I remember Hype playing 7-9 on Kiss. Totally unheard of for a legal station to play dnb for 2 hours at that time.

Yes it was okay as 2 stations but that didn't last long? Only about 2 years as choice north and south? And even then for several hours a day only one service was networked? We all know what kiss was and became but kiss is not a global station it's part of the next biggest group bourer? My spelling is not perfect I can't remember the exact letter's in the name? They also own the tedious tragic 1054 as well?

Fame - please stop ending every sentence using question marks instead of full stops, it's bloody irritating. 8-)

Yes it's owned by Bauer Media, who own every single magazine... I am sure Gloabal were in the bidding for Kiss, but it is a Bauer station.

Could be worse how about a week of listing to the patronising presenters on classic fm
