Trouble?
Do you mean because Base are now the 4th station to be using the same frequency? why did they change from the old freq?

They seem weaker than before if it was them I heard driving on the m62, it didn’t last long before it dropped off ,

In Manchester they could easily use 100, or 101.4. ,

I don't know why they want to change freq but obviously done it for a reason
I see in a YouTube they are from London let's hope they don't start taking other stations off that freq as pirates do in London dog eat dog world down there hopefully they change freq as they are known for 87.7 100.0 101.4 now 100.8 silly if you ask me I'd stay on one freq to establish my station

It’s your station isn’t it. ;)
I know you have previously said you knew someone at Base,
When you say above “hopefully they change freq”, do you mean Base to change?
Have Base FM ever taken “other stations off air”?

Not my station lad I was talking to a dj who was on base about a year ago
yes base should change freq in my opinion back to 101.4
As to your last question how do I know if they have taken other stations off air
I can only give my opinion
I don't think they have or will do anything like that as I don't see any one been taken off in the pass 10yrs by another station in Manchester
As for all pirates the aim of the game is to stay broadcasting not to cause any problems for themselves
As for the facts base are known to change freq alot so maybe they will change

I know a there is a guy broadcasting in Warrington area think on 100.8 hopefully he can get in contact with them a persuade them to move but who knows
If its on that level

It's so easy these days to rely another radio station from the internet and pretend it's that station. In this case Base fm. This is what I believe to be the case here. So I wouldn't worry about this nonsense. Base fm proberly don't even know about it. It's just someone playing about.

It’s common sense
Don’t do to others what you don’t want done to yourself
Things are better when people play nicely

Test transmissions have been heard from Overdrive during the early evenings on 101.4.Radio Overdrive still broadcasting during the daytime hours on 100.8. Could this mean Overdrive intends to change frequency soon ? Anyone else have any further information on this please?
