Overdrive have announced today that it has ceased transmissions altogether on 100.8mhz from today. They say normal service will be back for its day time listeners on Sunday October 29th from 12 noon till 4pm close as usual. They said, the frequency change gives both Base and Overdrive a better signal reach allowing Base to expand its signal into Cheshire, whilst it can recapture it's listenership in North Manchester and South Liverpool. Just common sense.

the owner of overdrive has 2 transmitters he ran both of them at the same time on 101.4, 1 playing laser 558 and the other overdrive don't know why he did that.
