They have been known to raid during bank holidays like Christmas etc, so Iplease don't assume that it's safe out there during such times, but agree, it's nice to see alot of pirate activity during the holiday season. I note Free Radio Liverpool on 102.2, Radio Concept 100.8, Radio Overdrive 101.4, Base on 100.8 although this may be relaying Panacea, MAR 87.5 and a new kid on the block, Mutiny 875 on 87.5. Some of these, I've yet to hear as they are outside my area.

Concept was coming through nicely on 100.8 yesterday evening at my place in south Liverpool. That's all I heard around here yesterday, although I was only at home in the evening.

I didn't catch FRL on 102.2, and that usually comes in OK at my place. I also caught them briefly on 87.5 a couple of months ago on a Saturday morning.

It doesn’t seem to have set times, I’ve seen 12 till 4 mentioned but I’ve also seen 4 till 8 or something like that , is it still on right now ? I can’t get it if so, but I’ve been tempted to head up a hill for better range and do full band scan

Hi Lee, Overdrive broadcast from 12 noon till 3pm every Sunday. Sometimes they do put out an occasional relay from other streams from 4pm till 8pm but this is rare. It also broadcast on bank holiday's from 12 noon till 4pm close giving an extra hour on the bank holidays. I hope this helps. All broadcast are live.

Radio Overdrive has increased its broadcasting time by one hour. Heard this Sunday gone from 12 noon till 4pm instead of 4pm close down time. They announced that as the days are becoming longer as Spring approaches, their plan is to close down one hour later. I'm pleased about this cos for me personally, I can't get enough of of this brilliant pirate.
A reminder of their frequency, it's 101.4 mhz fm and is one of the few pirates that broadcast live. :tup
