How far away has radio blackbeard signal been picked up on mw. Can't get it over here in Co derry but listen online.

The thing is that you are using the car and in an interference-full town. Whenever I'm on the radio again with a long wire antenna I'll see if I can get it any better. There's another post about blackbeard I've seen before I'll link it below for you. I believe he only has something like an 8 or 11w carrier, could be wrong

I’ve not heard him for a while i’m about 90kms away, I did hear it alot in 2022, it was on an evening, think it must of been skywave reception. There was something written in the mw blog a while ago, they had upgraded the aerial, it was 150w but maybe he’s reduced it since? or moved frequencies? this was in 2016, there is a lot more information there about it, sounds like he started in the x band also as a shortwave station before moving down.

I heard late 90’s trance mix simliar to what he’d play last friday on 1476khz again last night, it maybe worth checking, I heard on another forum he taken over the carrilon transmitter don’t know if thats true or not, it could well be or well been!. (the more I read about carrilion the more curious got, radio station sponsed by doctors or surgeries, shouldn’t that be smooth radio or maybe plays in them)
Its not even mentioned on hfunderground, it is quite cool, I do find that abit mind numbing ->, https://www.hfunderground.com/board/ind ... 46k7dsa163 its just a list of stations with no chatter, the dutch pirates also come back lately, polka on 1512 Radio Noordster, getting low in the band.
Its quite interesting what you hear I thought I was hearing an irish pirate on 1566, with the irish accents, turned out to be a bcc station still on air some other part of the country, thought the signal was too good, strange i’ve not noticed it before, get unusual music on french station on 1593, play dance mixes on a weekend, like some weird version of tommorow land.
