Hey all. For those who know me from way back...hello...and for those who dont...im Snow good evening all.

Just wanted to let you know I'm part of the Wk-End management team for Manchester. Just to clear any confusion...Wk-End have took over the frequency from Base FM and it's DJ's and management are now part of the Wk-End family.

We have been testing frequently as you all know so please keep the feedback coming. We have had a couple of tech issues were working on but hope to be full time soon.

Any questions...please Inbox myself, the main Wk-End account or Luckz.

Nice 1 Snow, good to hear you back. I saw the documentary that Lewis did and thought it was only a matter of time. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Sound. It was nice to meet Lewis...a great guy with a real passion for all things radio related. I enjoyed making the films about Buzz.

As for Wk-End...ive been involved in the station for quite some time and the Manchester side is something that's been in the planning for a while. We have only added to that now by bringing on the team at Base FM as a part of that. More DJs will be joining us from Manchester and the north west...so watch this space...i might even do a show myself at some point!

From today we will be 24/7 barring any technical's so keep it locked to Wk-End radio.

It's an absolutely cracking signal. I was in Manchester on Saturday night and I was listening all the way back to Liverpool in the car. It's audible around my part of South Liverpool with the exception of inside my house. It's fine in the car, even right outside!

It seems a little weaker around here today for some reason. Not sure if the weather etc can have an impact. I actually managed to get it inside the house a couple of days ago though on the Tecsun 660. It was a case of having to unplug the external antenna (great for SW, seemingly not so great for FM), angling the radio this way, pointing the whip antenna that way and positioning my hand just in front of the base of the antenna. I was having a play and stumbled upon the exact directions to point everything!

Is the output the same in Manchester as in London? The DJs I heard the other day didn't sound very Northern!
