Wow this guy sounds like a character and something thats needed around the UK not just yorkshire. Is there any audio online of his station? I'd like a listen as I live in Kent so obviously cannot pick it up on FM lol.

Hi everyone.. Can anyone check out 99.9 at the moment.. In Sheffield I'm getting 99.9 locked, tuned but sounds as though the link isn't on so it's a bit hissy..I know it's something as it blocking out kcfm 99.8 from Hull!

checked can’t hear anything, did hear fresh fm ok, 99.9 is sometimes used for rsls in leeds

Or8 radionortheast.. Cheers for checking up mate! It seemed to vanish after a while.. It may have just been local interference thinking about it... It was wierd though..Can get fresh when BBC Derby or Notts isn't crashing in to it..Plus me aerial is pants.. Gonna save up and get a 5 element beam and some very good shielded coax instead of that bollocks i bought from wilkos pmsl..Is there still a blank carrier on 98.0 coming from Leeds? Someone posted about hearing one last week but can't remember who atm!

went close by yesaday and couldn’t hear anything on 98.0, have blank carriers in my own house also wineing interference there on and off for sometime, anyway you’ll be well away if you get the 5 element beam, maybe you could fix a transmitter to it and aim it north so I can hear it!
