Unless your an absolute electronics wizz and a programmer you cannot use these satcans.
As far as I'm aware the is no baseband output so you have no way to extract any analogue audio.

You can extract a datastream from them. You have to change the digits to analogue, but there are ICs to do that. The 2.5GHz upper limit is the same as any other front end satellite receiver - the LNB converts 10 GHz down to 1 Gb.

No - of course not. However, some of us do have the digital sophistication to be able to transmit data streams, as well as demodulate them at the distant end.
As I recall, we used something quite like these satcans for the "Burst Mode" link I did recently.
