I Doubt Ofcom will do anything. LBC are currently being squashed in the east London by two pirates either side. LSR on 971 and an African on 975. The latter completely wipes out LBC in the Canning Town area (which obviously tells you something) and they have both been on for months on end without being taken off.

That's strange, because LBC used to be the first to complain about interference.

Maybe they don't bother complaining about interference from pirates so much now. Perhaps they don't see FM as a priority outlet as they are now nationwide on DAB. I bet their core listenership is still London based on FM though !

97.1 definitely on. Hearing it in Romford at the moment. Regarding your post, I phoned LBC and told them they were getting slaughtered by 975. That was back in May and absolutely nothing was done as these idiots are still on and never been taken off. Pirate radio when operated responsibly is still a great medium but I can't tolerate these arseholes that come on, sound awful and splatter over legals and the few decent pirates that are left. They seem to have no technical knowledge whatsoever but somehow they never get touched. Please reply responsibly BRUV. Goodbye and goodnight fellow decent Radioneckers

Yes of course mate, I tune in quite regularly. They seemed to have increased their power recently or maybe moved site. One of the few pirates worth tuning into. Mark Collins used to be on Stomp FM and also went briefly legal on Active FM which is now Time FM over here in Romford.

Yes they must have moved because I couldn't get them for about 2 years until last month so I don't know if they moved or raised the power or moved

I think this station is shouk of ofcom they only operate evening times after 5 pm on weekdays and full days on weekend , but LBC listeners will complain , if they can be bothered , not strong signal on east ! Just north , I bet studio is in north as well , nough Greeks over there !
