Selenium music player
I was wondering if anyone has used this app for their tunes on their phone. I've had it a while now and i think it's brilliant tbh. But i want to know if it sounds OK to other people. It has a compressor and limiter which i think I've got down to a t.. Any advice on setting it up would be welcome though coz I've never used compression before but know it can make music sound very nice as well as make it sound awful too! Thankyou for your time.

Re: Selenium music player
Just downloaded it and it seems pretty useful. I'll report back when I've played with it a bit.

Re: Selenium music player
The compression available is more of an "effect" than an actually useful level controller. That said, it does (mostly) work. It can be configured as a limiter, and it doesn't overshoot, so could be useful for some (fairly lo-fi) pirate radio!

Thanks Albert for your overview.. It's not too bad is it really. I mostly use it through my HiFi system (early 90's kenwood) and it sounds lovely, rich, on some of the better quality mp3's in my music library. I try not to use any less than 320Kbps when using download sites but use lossless audio (wav) for converting my music to put on the sd card.
