Simple RDS schematic

Maybe it does not work because the microcontroller model is not correct.

Just a hint: by the looks of the schematic it seems the signal is generated by oversampling. Pira used to use pic18f1220 or 1320 to get the advantage of the internal clock multiplier and be able to oversample the rds output signal.

This is just the micro RDS from pira. Albert has just renamed it.

I dont mean to be rude when i say this!

Its most likely a wind up? But why are people harassing Albert to post on this forum? He does not owe you nothing!

Since i have spoken to Albert over the years, I believe him to be a man of good faith that will help when he can? But also has his own interests to protect!

Ofcourse people on this forum can offer solutions on a plate, Yet learning nothing yourselves!

A word of advice, Please do your research, Test ideas! Your own Knowledge will prove invaluable when creating and troubleshooting!

Listen to those who have the experience, Even if you dont agree? Take it onboard, Cos one day it will be gone!

Speaking of learning? Coincidentally I used to work with a Mechanical engineer named Albert who retired about 10 years ago!

When he was faced with a problem, He would create a simple yet custom tool, solution or jig to overcome the issue!

The knowledge and logical thinking i gained from him was inspirational and will never be forgotten!

Hopefully i can pass on that knowledge to the next generation!

This is just my personal experience but whenever I have spoken to albert in the past, he is just rude, sends you on a wild goose chase, and thinks its funny to mock the "Solder jockeys" for trying to learn and build stuff, forgetting that he himself was a beginner/intermediate once upon a time. He Also forgets that this is a pirate radio forum, it has to be cheap throw away gear, not military spec with precisely calculated antenna arrays.

I totally get the argument! Lets look at it from a different perspective?

Albert may be abrupt in some aspects? But is RF really a starting point for beginners? Soldering is the least of your problems!

RF is a F*ckin pain in the ass even for the most experienced and learning will involve some seriously costly mistakes that i know too well!

I would say that Albert is giving a friendly warning to what lies ahead!
