I can hear this in stretton, although it’s pretty weak at -15db

I agree it’s bass heavy

Seems to be better on 87.65 than 87.7

I got this from Manchester airport , all the way to stretton, but lost it near daresbury due To Weak signal but it was stopping the car radio at the airport , stronger or better located than Gaydio who are on 88.4 (I know not a pirate)

If it was my rig, I would have switched switched it off right away if it had shitty audio and mains/rf buzzing noises.

Respect for the range though. They must have been running some power.

I thought perhaps the station themselves out the vid online, clearly I was wrong, but that wont actually be the flats in the video , or would it... hmm, if they own the station they wouldn’t be that stupid, but maybe it’s some random block to throw you off the scent

nice video. i was on a station from the midlands on 87.5 in the first lockdown, people picking it up bolton etc. people was talking about it. keep it up m8. ive been to manchester in the past never nothing on. birmingham only got a hand full of stations left;

, I’m guilty of giving signal reports too, but never have I said the name of town exactly where they are, that much I know for sure, I also don’t bother to track people down, not even in the 90s, but I’ve seen people drive past my own transmission sites (in the 90s) who were doing just that (wink wink, you know who you are, you didn’t plan on me walking upto your car did you, you soon scarpered)...
I agree we should be a bit more cautious as you never know who is watching these threads. (Not that it would take the dti long, or,anyone else set on finding a station if they put their mind too it), I guess if you can remove your antenna and you can still hear the station then your probably within a mile of the TX maybe even within shooting distance

Yeah i noticed. Still shockingly bad audio though, i have a compressor limiter if he wants one , but the buzz and every now n then hiss needs sorting if anyone is going to be able to listen for long. I’m wondering if they have a link system and the link is weak, although that buzz leads me to think they are broadcasting next to the TX , probably using a dj mixing desk with no rf filtering. Still, i wish them the best of luck.
