What hope do alternative stations have?
Every place I go to seems to be playing heart fm or magic not even BBC stations that often it really pisses me off and I know that decent stations have next to no listeners now and does anyone know how I can get acute figures for the dab plus complexs and well done Al the stations that are still carrying on

Unfortunately its a business they are there to make money, I suppose you can learn from them, they are very active on social media, they have different streams so if one person doesn’t like one they’ll like the other, (Heart Capital Hits their all trying to get the most listeners, they weed out any songs that might have knee jerk reaction, its just as a result they all sound similar the playlists will be limited, you do get greater choice than with just one station but not something better) Having it so people can download listen to the show they want could be good too, the best thing a station could do is play the music they like, the worst thing would be chase listeners try to be commercial make money you’ll got down the same route as Heart and Capital, the others, playing what others want to hear through peer pressure is not a good thing for a licensed station or a pirate.
