the reason i used the paid one is so everyone still had a cheshire receiver to use while i was using the paid one for hours. i would have been banned from the site if i hogged the free one for hours

Still working fine for me just Holmes Chapel 1 and South Manchester both premium but HC2 still open for me.

Radio overdrive was kinda booming yesterday but their music was over deviating badly compared to other stations near the frequency like capital 102 but his mic sounded great .

Thanks Pete for the report. Told Adrian about you reporting distortion on the mx side. He said he finds that puzzling as the music level has never been altered and other reports have mentioned the music being spot on but not always the mic. Very odd !!!??? Anyway, he'll keep an ear out for it all the same.

Yup first heard back in april. Was on one evening then went off soon after.

it wont have been lincs fm on 102.2, it has been replaced with greatest sh*ts radio

I think it's been taken over. I tried it and I'm getting an instance of "Grt hits" fairly strong at my location (as well as the local stuff 200KHz either side). If is the former Lincs TX at Belmont, that's a couple of KW of GRT SHIT. How much money is all this dross costing, I wonder, vs. income due to the FM outlets.

I think lincs was one of the old ILR radio stations, they could nolonger work, bough by bauer, so they can put national stations through the old transmitters, it is meant to be hits radio, it is the greatest hits, don’t know what is going on. I suppose the coverage area of old ILR stations was too small, they maybe got left behide a bit too, national brands, stations like greatest hits, heart, capital etc can appeal to a wider audience, stick around/replace them.

There was a mondo good lift last week, I think you maybe caught the tale end of it, there was dutch and Belgium stations on fm, then it switched round you just had stations from else were in the uk.

Concept Radio heard last Sunday 100.8 with a good signal.Nice stereo&rds input.Hopefully they will be on today.Always good to hear something on.
