anyone know when the wakefield sdr will come back online

It got stuck afew days ago has gone now compleatly, I was enjoying trying to hear the big and other one, I suspect they are quite close to the reciever, I think the other has gone, I noticed it has sometimes been tuned to big as the rds is still there but when I go to listen it is gone.

It can also pick up the 1w from the uni too, i’ve quite alot closer to it, on the omi it sounds the same as it dose through it, its traveling alot further to it, it can be abit uncanny as I don’t know if i’m tuned to my own receiver, its a shame there aren't more of these things, I do struggle to remain interested in these things, though its great somethings reach it from across the street.

theres nothing really local thats why its so good, though its further than I though it was, it sits on a hill on the south side with a good location for radio, you likely wouldn’t pick up as much down in wakefield. The operator usually swings the aerial round every few days so you can see what you can hear, compare.

into the night, four strings? I don’t know if we were listening to the samething, I heard gigi d’gostino, might of been mc sar and the real maccoy, sounded like 90’s songs but newer versions, with newer stuff mixed over the top. I though marqueemoon was listening to it, it was my error lol, they were listening to the big fm on the reciever. Maybe the other could be called little fm, it sounded quite clear it was 28.1dbs I could hear the stereo, it was over modding with the bass, seemed to be some good music coming over it. I heard atc round the world thats another one too

Into the night Yes I had all sort of thoughts, some good Trancey stuff when I heard it and yes occasional drop outs to silence and a bit of distortion a bit over moddy. I messed around with bandwidth and it got even clearer. Interestsing it vanished on vertical good on horizontal.

Gone now maybe it will come back who knows ?

yeah, I think their putting it on when they want to hear something and leaving it tuned to the receiver, I couldn’t hear it tonight thought, I was listening to it earlier on, I got a connection dropped some kind of 404 error

Interesting one that, good tuner nice stereo nice modulation the tunes make it nice and clear as well.
