88.6 Appears to be House FM - I wonder if B2B are still on?

Re: London FM Pirates Scan
Really? I have left the London area now 886 is where house fm started? I think the 2 stations have been linked all the time because when house first took 100.3 ten years ago now they used 886 at the same time for about 5 months the back2back first came on early 2011 and I am sure it was exactly the same rig as for 1003 I think later it became a problem for house? And I think it's almost 2 years ago they last used it?

B2B was definitely on 88.6 a few days ago, I heard Back 2 Back said in the adverts

Re: London FM Pirates Scan
Thank you its been over 2 months I have left and house fm was one of the few stations I heard all the way through their fm days 9 years on 886 and about 8 on 1003 but as the years went on 100.3 just seemed to get weaker and weaker and the B2B signal recently was far better

It's still there tonight - I'll make sure they're both on the bandscan for now in case they're relaying each other at certain times etc.

Re: London FM Pirates Scan
I was staying in a hotel in a different area of London each day (nw, ne, se, sw). This is just what I observed on my portable while I was out and about through the city, and also through scans on my regular radio once settled into the hotel.
One thing I'll say about the place is that an english breakfast in London is nothing compared to it up north!

Re: London FM Pirates Scan
87.8 is still hosting Fortune FM. Fairly weak signal here in SE1. Fat Larry is on air at the moment (Sunday 6th December). Website given as www.fortunefm.co.uk but this does not work. I do not know if this station has replaced The Rock, but I have not heard The Rock on 87.8 in a very long time. As Fortune FM has been around on this channel for quite a while now maybe it should be added to the list?

Is it African? I think there's been one or two other things which popped up on 87.8 after The Rock 926, so probably still early days and might something else on there next week.

New arrival on 101.2:
NRG LIVE
website: nrglive.co.uk
(on air output matched with online output)
Pretty faint here in SE1, but audible over the static hiss. They're playing some excellent progressive house today.
Has Unique Radio ceased broadcasting on this frequency? I also note that I have not heard Naija FM on 101.1 in about a year.

Unique is back on 101.2 with RDS
Juice FM have moved from 101.2 to 101.1, getting them clearer into SE.
No sign of NRG Live yet

Re: London FM Pirates Scan
How far are these stations truly getting out 0.1 away from eachover like that?! This part of the dial must sound like a mess if you're in a part of London where all these stations hit.mpx wrote: ↑Fri Feb 12, 2021 4:56 pm 99.6 Fate FM RDS: "F8_FM_UK" http://www.fatefmuk.net/

Also when was this Fate FM ever on 92.4? The last station on that dial post Dejavu was an online thing called USD a couple years back if my memory serves me correct.

Not very well. On a selective receiver you can pick them all out if the levels are even. Otherwise, its a mess
