I've heard Concept in the Manchester area before but never over the east side of Cheshire. OK it's weak but definitely not their TSA so they are getting out well! Wonder if they've upped the power or maybe moved to a higher site.
I don't usually stop by 102.2, bit of a non-starter where I am due to interference from legals. Might try it if I find myself in a more conducive place!

I’m getting some rather repetitive dance music in 87.7 , not heard any ident , comes and goes so don’t think it’s local

I think it's been taken over. I tried it and I'm getting an instance of "Grt hits" fairly strong at my location (as well as the local stuff 200KHz either side). If is the former Lincs TX at Belmont, that's a couple of KW of GRT SHIT. How much money is all this dross costing, I wonder, vs. income due to the FM outlets.
Dead carrier now on 100.8, not particularly strong at my location and probably not Cheshire either - meaning this whole post is possibly OT so I'll shut up!

I have it under good authority that Cheshire Alternative Radio will be on at 8pm tonight on 87.5mhz fm straight after MAR. So if you fancy a bit of rare dx, tune in tonight.

Cheshire Alternative Radio closed at 10pm. I'd switched off long before then so I unfortunately didn't get to hear Ruby.
Always another time tho'

It's still on Jake, you should get it at your location no problem.

Radio overdrive was kinda booming yesterday but their music was over deviating badly compared to other stations near the frequency like capital 102 but his mic sounded great .

i heard a station called HFM from Market Harborough wherever that is on 102.3 FM a few days ago, all i hear on 102.2 is capital from Birmingham, and greatest hits radio from the same area on 105.2..
i recorded hours of ruby 87.5 last night, i paid £7 to use global tuners to get these recordings, the £7 was WELL worth it
ruby had a good signal but its audio was a little low to me.

Thanks Pete for the report. Told Adrian about you reporting distortion on the mx side. He said he finds that puzzling as the music level has never been altered and other reports have mentioned the music being spot on but not always the mic. Very odd !!!??? Anyway, he'll keep an ear out for it all the same.
