holmes chapel, sometimes the tuners go offline

Looks like there's a second one now "Holmes Chapel 2" which you don't have to pay for that's been added as well
....Coming through loud and clear with a background rig-hum.

And in the time it took me to sign up they made that one premium too

the reason i used the paid one is so everyone still had a cheshire receiver to use while i was using the paid one for hours. i would have been banned from the site if i hogged the free one for hours

Still working fine for me just Holmes Chapel 1 and South Manchester both premium but HC2 still open for me.

Thanks Pete for the report. Told Adrian about you reporting distortion on the mx side. He said he finds that puzzling as the music level has never been altered and other reports have mentioned the music being spot on but not always the mic. Very odd !!!??? Anyway, he'll keep an ear out for it all the same.

I think it's been taken over. I tried it and I'm getting an instance of "Grt hits" fairly strong at my location (as well as the local stuff 200KHz either side). I think lincs was one of the old ILR radio stations, they could nolonger work, bough by bauer, so they can put national stations through the old transmitters, it is meant to be hits radio, it is the greatest hits, don’t know what is going on. I suppose the coverage area of old ILR stations was too small, they maybe got left behide a bit too, national brands, stations like greatest hits, heart, capital etc can appeal to a wider audience, stick around/replace them.

There was a mondo good lift last week, I think you maybe caught the tale end of it, there was dutch and Belgium stations on fm, then it switched round you just had stations from else were in the uk.

Radio overdrive sounding great, no over deviating on the mic and music, good signal too getting 4 bars on my TEF6686 radio.

MAR coming through loud and clear on 87.5 via the Holmes Chapel 2 tuner (globaltuners.com)

.....Not getting any RDS coming up though, I gather they're not using it?

never get RDS from mar or overdrive on my radio for some reason even though their signals are good to me..

Whilst we welcome anyone who listens to Radio Overdrive, we're certainly not short of listener's. Numbers are more than satisfactory.

You took that personally , you shouldn’t , let’s face it you don’t know how many listen , it’s not like you have radar figures, your getting to a few anoraks, well done.

Concept Radio heard last Sunday 100.8 with a good signal.Nice stereo&rds input.Hopefully they will be on today.Always good to hear something on.
