More than likely, I'd say.

Probably just the level is set too high, although saying that I sometimes find I get that either side of some strong BBC stations.

Checked the stream and you're right, it's actually a live DJ announcing Innov8 Radio and everything.

Seems they are playing a bit of everything, but mostly Trap type stuff. At least it seems like they favor the Hudson Mohawke side of Trap.

Here's hoping they've not forgotten Cardiff and Bristol and will turn up here again soon.

lot of dxers like kenwood radios, think it was because they had alot of if stages in, you get about the same sensitivty out of alot of old tuners whatever the make very few are duds!, you get an image or 2 with some but it dosen’t effect much not as bad as on a cheap sdr or if you hooked up alittle battery powered radio to an outdoor aerial.

fm tuner website lists tuners i’ve looked, it won’t list midi sytems which I think your tuner is
http://www.fmtunerinfo.com/kenwood.html
it will have decent performance judging by your reception reports, obviously a tuner with modded fliters will have an edge. Sometimes people sell their modded tuners on ebay but its rare, not so long ago there was a sony sb920, think it has rds

Thanks for that radionortheast... I just wanna moan about innov8.. It's a blank carrier yet again.. Wtf is going on..if someone from innov8 could let us all know what the point of their blank air space is? I mean, what are ya doing? If I had a rig n all that goes with it,it would be on with audio and when not playing owt it would be off..Ya just bringing it on top using big power from a high site and leaving it blank...

They probably have problems with stream connections dropping off etc. and getting back to multiple rigs to restart them must be a pain.
