May I suggest you use the Elenos circuit for the BLF177 rather than the Phillips test circuit? It's broadband so you don't need to worry about trimmers failing.
The only thing it doesn't include is a low pass filter but it's easy to add one on.

There are a couple of other FETs that will work in that board too, with very minor changes. I used to build them with SRF1616 or MRF151 (not the "G" version obviously). My version of the board was slightly narrower, but longer to accommodate a 2-stage lowpass filter and a screen to separate the filter coils from the rest of the board.
