I find the 'This is Hits for the South West of England' jingle funny. A very large proportion of the rf is intentionally beamed into much of South Wales.

I find the 'This is Hits for the South West of England' jingle funny. A very large proportion of the rf is intentionally beamed into much of South Wales.

Apparently it's 40kW sent to the west and something like just 0.4kW to the east (but still goes out for miles east from Mendip mast)

As some of you know I used to live in Windsor great park but I moved away 4 years ago yesterday the closest I was to London was Bedford and 100 from London wasn't clear and only 50 miles away so 100 isn't great going north must be classic 100.1 and other interference
