It would be a bit of a squeeze to get something into a cze case, I think they are fairly small, maybe there were some 25w higher power ones that had a bigger case, the 7w one you would not get an nrg pll inside of it all, think of trying to squeeze into a tight pair of pants maybe you could saw it down the middle with only few connections, but not that good.

The front always looked like cb equipment on the cze's, I wasn't kean on it, were in agreement over the rf amp been robust, I suppose you could make your own front cover, don't know who'd have a microphone input on the front of a transmiiter, as you don't what it to be like a bug, a high input would cause hum, i've never heard any on these, though I suppose someone will come forward and say how they have front loading xlr micophone connections on their transmitter.
