87.5 is getting out really strong now around herts and the audio is sounding very crisp now

Still got some House station on a loop coming over the top of Raw but it's not strong at home. It comes in clear in the higher parts of Worthing.
No ID, no jingles, just music. Been getting it the last week or so, any ideas?

Raw back up to big power again, pretty clear along parts of the Brighton and Worthing coast.

Who is switched on &7.5fm in London raw FM is looking for u .... U won't last long switch off b4 it's to late

Did a little dial scan today, couldn't pick anything up other than raw on 87.5. Signal was 17db in South east suburbs. :tup

WHO EVER THIS IS THAT'S SWITCHED ON 87.5 I SUGGEST YOU SWITCH OFF FAST BEFORE WE GET THERE!!

can i ask you bristolpirates - what sort of aerial you use for this sdr radio? i use sdr radio - but have trouble pulling in stations .. im using my old tv antenna (roof) connected to the dongle..

That might be why then, a TV antenna is only resonant for 500-800MHz and is absolutely useless for the FM broadcast radio band for obvious reasons. A simple piece of wire connected to it inside a room would probably work better than that.

....You need an FM receive aerial, one that is vertically polarised and not one of those circular halo things!

I've got a wire dipole sellotaped up in the loft and that works fine for the moment.
