Haven't heard anything this weekend. I've been away for a couple of weeks until yesterday but prior to that it's been really quiet in these parts (or I just keep missing stuff).

There was a wee bit of FM skip earlier, stuff from the continent coming in on 87.7 amongst others, then gone as quickly as they came. I agree not much on that I can get.

Radio Waves put in an appearance yesterday afternoon on 87.7.
Non stop music for much of the time, some generic jingles and the very occasional announcement - one was a pitched down voice and the other was text-to-speech.
Haven't heard them for ages, although that may be more due to me missing them than them not being on as they only ever do a few hours at a time.

Concept were on from Sunday afternoon and into the night. Good signal and great output, as ever.
That thing on 108 is still going as well. I listened over the weekend and heard a program about the Ukraine/Russia war, clearly being streamed from an online source.

i've read about the 108 thing, it dose intrigue me, i've heard Alex Jones someone who's been banned, through in car transmitter, bit of a worry, I don't suppose anyone can be listening to the 108 thing, i'd much prefer to hear some sash.

It's a strange one. Sometimes it's so in-the-red distorted that you can't hear what's being broadcast. It's also only listenable in a small area. I'm convinced it's not just for personal use (eg getting audio around the house) as it's so unlistenable for such a lot of the time (or certainly was - I don't tune in much these days).

That thing on 108 seems to be off now. I'm not sure how long it's been off. Could be a few weeks, could be a bit longer. I've certainly not heard it for a few weeks. I don't check it very often as it's usually so unlistenable. It was on constantly, either audio or just a carrier, for years. Seems to have gone now though.

Maybe they’ve blown the output mosfet, theres no thermal protection in these transmitters or gotten bored

Radio Waves was on for a few hours yesterday late afternoon into early evening. It was there a few weeks ago as well. Still as sporadic as ever! Always a good mix of music, covering a real range of styles.
That thing on 108 has been back on from time to time as well. For years it was either pushing out distorted audio of Talk Radio, GB News, a drama or something from YouTube, without any break. Now, it sounds like the tx is off most of the time unless there's audio. Recently I've heard GB news and also a very short loop, repeated continuously, of some horrible right wing propaganda. However, it's not been on at all most of the time I've been passing through their coverage area.

Getting something on 87.7 presume rsl, Punjabi, sounded like they said Novana but it’s not the strongest signal and audio is pretty bad

I think you'll find the audio is vastly improved this evening.

Unless I've been missing it all, it's been very quiet around here lately. However, I did catch The Scene on 102.2 yesterday lunchtime. I didn't catch much of it as I was driving and went out of range, but I was listening for long enough to hear an ident. As it doesn't reach my house I'm not sure if this is a regular thing or a rarity.
