This thread is about greater Manchester
I still can’t receive overdrive and whenever I asked when you are on I get no response.

I think you mean what area Overdrive covers. North and central Cheshire.is where I've received them. It's not Greater Manchester or Liverpool. Infact there is no thread for Overdrive's area so I write in this and the Liverpool thread as Overdrive has been heard in the southern tip of Liverpool ie Runcorn and parts of South Manchester ie Stretton town. That's my observation to date. Signal can be heard strong in Stoke on Trent but that's higher ground.
They say the station is sponsored by Just Stop Oil and Extintion Rebellion. That's all I know.

Forgot to mention, I've heard them as far as junction 16 on the M6 so their set up is running well.

I'm not on at all. I listen not send. Radio Overdrive is on the air every afternoon from 1pm till 4pm close, The format is usually rock music. I live in Crewe and it's a good signal there.

No I meant Stretton near Appleton Thorn ,(north of Northwich) definitely not greater Manchester.,
You can always create your own thread for overdrive or area.
Most if not all your posts advertise Overdrive, I will take a drive around and have a listen , see if it’s as good as the music on Carousel 80s
All the best

Thanks for that information.
Yes I mention Overdrive more than other pirates as it's the strongest in my area and possibly the only pirate in the area. But if you check back, I have mentioned MAR and Base fm, when I've gone out of my area to listen to others.

Ahh if we told you that...
There are reasons behind it but not something i want to discuss in the public forum. As you can probably hear from the transmission now though, things are better than before!

I'm guessing ofcom but if that's true then you must have a pretty decent back up of transmitters
Because you always come back on if you don't mind me asking how do you get the sound so good

One thing its not is Ofcom, its more technical.
Im not gonna post how we get the sound so good on here again. But as a little incling, we use industry grade processing.
