I knew the original person who started it 22 years ago and the bloke he sold it to aswell as for the praise yes I did say that and I could have joined them but couldn't find the time and maybe the show did go on to long but I never said he was not a good dj maybe after 30 years he needs the rest anyway my favourite dj on there was Paul James know as the god farther of house

Truth is hardly anyone is volunteering to play on pirate radio now not like years ago when stations would turn people away

Paul James one of my favorites! Keeps the talking to a minimum and plays pure underground deep rollers! On my travels I only get and listen to PB, Flight or 87.5. They all have their ups and downs but will always support. Hardly any decent stations left.

Not getting drawn into the rest of this but PB did take a bad hit a few months back and lost studio gear and also tech people (I don't know the exact reasons behind this so dont ask) and because of this a lot of DJs moved on which added to the problem due to loss of cash. There will be a lot of changes and it probably won't sound technically as slick either. Sad as there was a time when it was the best station in London hands down but lets hope it can get back somewhere near as good as it was, and those DJs drift back over time.

But it never went of the air? But that explains the weaker and lower quality sound

I think there might have been a little break but it's important to keep your spot on the dial if you intend to come back on. Especially down here!

Yes I noticed and I have never know it off this long I don't know what has happened but I would guess its like you can't get hold of anything at the moment including rigs?

Perhaps it's just access to their TX site. I'd be surprised if they didn't have spare rigs, aside from the past 3 weeks I can't remember the last time they were off the dial

I agree I don't think any stations in London had less time off air
