There's something political on 106.5 at the moment (1.30 am). It's a whacking big signal and it's coming from a well-known north London block (I went past about 20 minutes ago and could receive it nearby with the car aerial disconnected). It's a block that I used to use - partly because I liked the nearby pub and partly because it was easy to link to from my friend's flat. There was a new twin dipole up there when I went past this afternoon.

No RDS, and it's mono, and the ranting nutter on there is calling it "The Voice Of Freedom". It's humming, playing "Christian Rock" and seems to be mostly about broadcasting anti-Moslem, anti-immigrant ranting.

Well that lasted a long time - I noticed it at 01:05, gone at 01:32!

And 10 hours later Project appear back on, scrolling RDS but silent.

Silence or white noise sounds much better than them.

I couldn't hear Project at all and still can't either in North London or in Central London at the office. There's a white noise carrier on 106.5, but it's weak - not like Project at all.

Yes but I thought I would leave it for some else to say it first this time been like this since Saturday? I'm suprised the management don't fix it or turn off till they do?

Essex's Project Radio is just white noise again.... they must be having a lot of problems to keep this load of crap even switched on... it wasn't my thing anyway BUT I like the difference on the dial so I hope they sort their problems out and return Essex's Project... or... just give it up as a bad job.... that said, there's quite a few London stations that fall into that category as well!
