That's why I was asking earlier. You're using a £60 pc, you've got your microwave gear probably costing around the same (if you're lucky), plus a £10 DAC board. Your PC's streaming audio and doing stereo multiplexing and RDS encoding. I'm guessing that in your setup, you're also doing processing and scheduling on it, and having your presenters stream into an icecast server also running on this box. If you need to do the latter at your midpoint, then I can see why you've gone for a PC.
On the subject of the Pi though, the model 3 has enough grunt to easily play a stream and do stereo and RDS encoding on it, and output the multiplex via a DAC (the popular PCM5122 ones cost around £12 these days). This would all set you back a shade over £40. Having it co-located with your main rig, assuming you've got wifi available, costs in, removing the microwave gear from the equation. The Pi will also enable you to do remote control and telemetry. Absolute bargain.
