There's an MB501L between the VCO and the PLL chip (divide by 64) as the MC145152 will only go up to 20 MHz or so.

Good guesses. It was an old twin CD recorder. The sections cut out the front are ideal as ventilation for the amp heatsink, and to access the phono socket. Got some ferrite rings to fit and some tidying up, but works well.
