The latest information I have received from my friend Adrian Archer is that Radio Overdrive's return to the air waves is imminent and is expected back in early July

Radio Corsair was back on the air celebrating its 49th birthday. The broadcast were heard on Sunday July 14th and Wednesday July 17th on 101.4 fm and broadcast from 1pm till 5pm respectively. The dj said that it was just a one off broadcast and no further broadcast are planned for the future on fm.
Originally, the station operated on short wave but whether that is something for the future, is unclear at this time.

i heard that station from radio overdrive's studio with a loud buzz too. BTW radio overdrive sounded very weak last Sunday when they did a test transmitton in the evening and his mic was to high i couldn't tell what Adrian was saying. ask Adrian to check his antenna or put it up higher please.

I can’t get it, thought maybe with the ‘full power’ that would mean I could, but seriously, take a drive around and it’s patchy, even when i drive in between the two of you (h hmm). I think it’s just sailing over the top, I have to drive to lostock Graham before i feel it’s full power

All this week, in memory of August 14th, Merseyland Alternative Radio has been putting out Caroline programs and old recordings of MAR 10 years ago. These broadcast have been heard during the daytime from about 10.30am for 4 hours, or in the eveningsfrom 6.30pm. The transmissions have been heardon their frequency of 87.5 mhz fm here in Cheshire. Just curiouswhether anyoneelse has been listeningto these relays from MAR..

i heard someone relaying mar on 87.5 and also playing a recording of tony Allen from Caroline, i preferred him on Radio Nova Dublin in the early 80s, a much hotter station then Caroline.
