I wonder if it's anything like the same reason why 107.3 went off that time..?

I wouldn't have thought they would something like that to a long standing station like that, the 107.3 are only kids compared to the long standing rinse outfit,I was wondering have they had a problem with the license?

Very strange but I think it could be one of 2 things.
1. weather damage to the tx equipment (very unlikely given rinses professionalism)
2 The building of which rinses tx site is on top of is currently being totally renovated by the local council, rumour has it that the council are making the building 2 floors higher to accomadate londons ever growing population.
If number 2 is the case were will this leave rinse in terms of a tx site I wonder?
Surely rinse would of been informed about the renovation works so then they could move tx sites whilst this was going on.

I have no interest in rinse any more, it used to be one my my favorite pirates when i was growing up and it was on 100,3 but as soon as it went legal it changed and i lost interest.

Apart from getting a license how do you think it's changed? Apart from one or two brief new clips between the hours the format is still very much the same way it was towards the end of still being pirate.

It all changed to Grime and UK Funky etc long before they went legal, they still play the odd bit of Garage though from time to time

Lol Fuze times have changed music has changed since, why would they still be supporting music scene's that are dead and past it, they have moved forward in times with what people want to hear these days if they carried on playing what they were in 2003 then they will be well behind in time.

Your right but I didn't say they changed that was someone else's post they have stayed true to their remit to provide a true alternative service,it's just not to everybody's taste

Im not into grime never have been but from what I heard before they went legal the output is pretty much the same and its good for those who like it. Uncle Dugs on a Friday morning is the only show I lock into only because he plays old skool hardcore, jungle and old skool dnb plus he has a guest on most weeks who chat about their times in the rave scene. I'm glad it hasnt stuck to playing shit garage that just sounds the same, least they are sticking with grime, uk funky, house, dubstep and seem to be doing well. Their FWD nights seem to do really well and get packed out. I think its the only station that has stayed true to its roots (well for now anyway) and carries on supporting genres that commercials or other community stations will never touch. Is Genius still running it? or is it Dugs these days? Sarah seemed to be the force behind getting the license and also pushing the FWD nights.
As for their FM... is a bit strange! are they not back on yet?
