Is anyone else in Hampshire/Wiltshire getting this? Had a jingle earlier "all-star hit mix with the Vengaboys" or similar.

picked this up just now with a weak signal just outside southampton

Getting a hum interrupted with mic-rubbing-against-clothes sounds on 100.7 in Wiltshire.

back on , hearing the same "vengaboys" jingle and house music. exciting to get something interesting down here.

Yes it's back on again. I picked it up driving home northbound on the A34 with RDS. It's called Global Dance Radio and was an unmodulated carrier when I found it. At 5.20 pm the All-Star Hitmix with the Vengaboys started up again.

Now at home the signal peaks SW and is stronger than yesterday: 2 bars with RDS. This is the same strength and direction that Faze FM used to be on 87.5 so I'm guessing they are back with a new venture.

Their website is being reported as a forgery by Firefox.

At first I thought they were relaying a Dutch station, it does seem to be a pre-recorded mix though and an odd one since I can't find any information about it on the web. Where did you hear Global Dance Radio?

Definitely prefer Faze's format...

It comes up with the RDS switching between GLOBAL__ DANCE___ RADIO___ on the PS. The Radiotext says "GLOBAL DANCE YOURE URBAN DANCE PROVIDER" (and yes the spelling is like that).

I'm not sure I'd describe the Vengaboys as urban dance though!

I came across this one while driving from Ringwood to Verwood this evening. No crackling and good signal. Sounds like they have an cheesey EDM podcast on repeat!

Shame they have nicked the name of the internet station Global Dance Radio that plays UK Hardcore.

Change of music today. hip hop and snoop dawg for breakke. It is broadcasting from Southampton as announced on the deep house session in the evening.

The peak beam heading for me suggests somewhere further west than Southampton, as it peaks to the SW. Southampton is due south of here.

Stronger signal tonight around my area

Yes is is back on with weaker signal. no reception in Bournemouth although choppy signal in Ringwood. Sunday could only hear silence! think they must of moved their transmitter to another location.

Yes - very strong on the west side of Southampton. In stereo now but still no RDS.

Yes its back again, in mono scrolling RDS with a shout out number but cant quite catch it!
