Hello, I've never soldered a connector of this kind and wanted to know what is the best way to do it. I have some photos of something I saw to see what you think. The cable will use is the rg316. In a photo is a piece of metal I've done and in another a piece of circuit.

I normally just solder the braid to a tag like in your top picture, and fasten it to the chassis below one of the nuts holding the SO239 on. Your tag is too big and if you get a smaller one you will be able to shorten the unshielded part of the cable to your middle pin. I don't know what the extra piece is around the 2 screws to the left of your top picture. Is it a piece of copper? PCB? Not sure what this is for unless you're using it as a star earth?

Hello, the piece there is a piece of printed circuit board, had thought solsar the mesh there. The yellow terminal is a test since he had no other smaller. So would it be correct to put a smaller terminal welded to the mesh and then bolted to the chassis?

That is what I always do. Ultimately, your'e bolting something to the case, so your piece of PCB is also valid, you're just using it instead of a tag. However a tag is easier. You can use a sprung washer too to ensure a good contact.

This is how I do mine...
Like Shuffy says, if you use a smaller crimp lug, will work well. I normally use a blue electrical crimp lug which I crimp with a tool, then heat the crimp up with a soldering iron. The plastic becomes soft and slides off the metal easily and you can cut it off. I usually then add solder to the termination.

Its always easier if you use decent teflon coax to do this as normal coax like rg58 melts too easily and can cause a short.
