I don't listen to kool much these days for various reasons,but they're always on my presets on the work radio and in the motor. So i dont know how long they have been blowing out as far north up the a10 and into n/e herts,but they are,and they're crystal clear.

Theres a reason for that

I'm received it in Windsor lately as well first time for ages?

Can hear them just about at my house in Worthing at the moment and I've got a very strong radio 4 from Brighton on 94.5, if it wasn't for that I think it would be pretty clear.

I got a radio Berkshire relay on 94.6 about 14 miles north west of where I am but at the moment with one of my ariels it's easy to get kool the other ariel is about 15 yards on the other side of my place now sign of kool just BBC radio Berkshire

Kool have been getting out a lot better in the last few weeks, it sounds like they've moved site to somewhere quite high. Unfortunately someone has been playing with the processor and the mod sounds horrible, it sounded a lot better some weeks ago.

It did get out very well its probably 4 years since I last could pick it up in Windsor ? House fm 100.3 was coming in well at that time as well so if the kool egineer can do it there is hope for house fm and B2B fm to get out again one day as well? Because with the exception of project and vision all the other stations are about as intresting as watching paint dry

Fast approaching 25 loyal years, Kool FM are undoubtedly one of London's biggest ever pirate radio station's and Jungle/DNB wouldn't still have such a strong and solid following today if it wasn't for the one and only Kool FM 94.5/94.6.

est 28/11/91 and kool are still runnin tings. They also had a station in the midlands between 1996 and 2002 I believe.

Used to tune into Kool Midlands when driving to Brum on
nights out clubbing. Put out a good signal as far south as Worcester, from
what I can remember. Did the Midlands station have any real connection
with Kool London?

Every time I stick Kool on it always seems to be Food Junky on the decks! They have been a lot better getting out in South London, I have had them in Heathrow M25 Jnc all the way around to Watford. Which is good for them.

one of Eastman's mates started out kool midlands in '96 because the mixtapes/radio shows were becoming popular over there. Very interesting article on vice.com about kool's history it's an interview done by Eastman last summer so fairly recent.
