Keeping your rig safe

Anyone got a design to keep your rig safe I've spoken to a few people and they say to get a laptop safe and weld 6mm plate round it all and change locks anymore idears are welcome #dontlikethiefs

You'd probably be better off making it out of aluminium as it clogs cutting disks/grinding wheels. Well, at least the ones that the thieves have in stock.

If you use a safe make sure that it has adequate ventilation holes to let the cool air in and the hot air out, better still use a fan to make sure this happens properly.
Seen too many people over the years put a rig in a sealed metal box and then complain that it's losing power or keeps shutting off.

Another clever fella decided to weatherproof his rig by wrapping it tightly in bin-liners and gaffa tape which had the same effect, but that's another story.
