25 ohm coax

Hello all
Can I get some advice again please
I have 150w amplifer which has a 25ohm coaxial transformer on it at the output right before the filter. Its approx 12cm's long but ive stupidly damaged it. I didnt have any 25ohm coax laying around and its a little pricey to buy just for 12cm of it.
So to get my amp running ive installed 2 lengths of 50ohm RG316 side by side both measuring the same length as the damaged piece removed. The amp is running and giving the same power as before, both lengths of coax is only warm (Same as before), and its clean on my analyzer.
Is it ok to do this, I guessing it works same as a resistor, 2 parerell 50ohm producing 25ohm total impedance. Or should I order some 25ohm?
Thanks in advance
