Asking for some mates again - Which is best for internal box connections?

RG178
RG174
RG142

About the coaxes listed:

RG174 is the cheapest and shittest because it melts with even the slightest heat (don't use that please)
RG178 is a nice Teflon/ Silver coax usable up to about 100-150W
RG316 is a thicker version of RG178 and usable up to about 400W
RG142 is thicker again, and would probably handle 1KW or more.

Out of all those, "the best" is probably RG142 but (as Berlin saidf) in reality RG316 is your best bet a for a rig of up to a few hundred watts.

Id have to agree! I was recommended RG316 on here a few years back
Its super high quality and probably the easiest coax I have ever worked with!
I paid a bit over the odds at the time! But worth every penny!
