That looks like it's been built for the higher end of the band.

I agree - looks like something you'd use for 144, however i've seen that layout before on a LDMOS device, think it'll go all the way down to 8v.. Very neat - well doneteckniqs wrote:That looks like it's been built for the higher end of the band.

The main PA stage does definitely, modified for band II.

The main amp was on 144 mhz.
The pcb output coil track was cut and replaced with a 3 turn coil,
The base was replaced with different capacitance to bring it down to work on the top end of the broadcast band.
