OK I have a question regarding the hi-gain vertical 1/2 wave .I saw on previous forms they have two coils wound round a pole (blue & brown ).my question why doesn't this one on the picture, have those two wounded on a pole ?

Is this really a serious question?

Yes it's a serious question .I normally only see two coils on a vertical .but seems there's two versions. one with four coils ,other has two coils .

Ahh, the way I read it was it sounded like you were asking why the coil windings were not wrapped around the metal of the pole, which would obviously cause a severe detune miss-match.
....All I can guess is maybe they are 2 different versions, as far as I'm aware there was a 100w and a 250w version but I was just told the coils were just thicker, I've only seen two coils on them though.
Someone else should know

That's my fault sorry techniqs. I should have meant the blue and brown electric wire wrapped round the plastic part. Wrapped round Dyson hoover plastic part should I say lol.just this antenna on picture doesn't show the blue and brown .was wondering what the the difference was between the two versions .
