Hello everyone,
I recently got one of those Chinese 170 watt pallet amps for the mrf9180.The SMD
Caps and resistors don’t have any markings on them, does anybody know which strip contains which passive value?

Ps.somehow the Vendor has given me 2 mrf9180’s !!

he gives you two because they will fly one by one ,take care, anyway take a ddm and measure the value so it will be a resistor .good luck

It’s the caps that aren’t labelled sorry I realised the codes on the resistors

If those pallets are all the same as one another, this guy put up a circuit diagram:

Hope that is useful... :tup

The problem I have is that I don't know what values of the smd capacitors because there are no markings on them.

SMD ceramic capacitors never have marks on them, unfortunately.
You will have to use a capacitance meter to sort them out.

Just buy a Capacitor meter, they are cheap on eBay and when I built a few of these I found I needed one to make sure I was fitting the correct values because many of the caps weren't marked with their values.

Will a 24v 8.4 amp power supply be sufficient for the mrf9180?. What power supplies are you lot using for these pallet amps?

I'd go for at least a 10 amp supply for that device...

Do you think it will be alright for mrf186?

I use the cheap Chinese 24V 10A power supplies.

Running @ 26V at 8A 16 hours a day - every day - no problem :tup
